Please do not put refuse out on Sunday 30th April, Monday 8th May and Sunday 28th May as there are no collections on the May Bank Holidays and Liberation Day. You may put out extra on your next normal collection.

Recycling

Please do not put recycling out on Sunday 30th April as there is no collection on Bank Holiday Monday 1st May. Please put recycling out (clear bag) on Wednesday 3rd May instead.

Please do not put recycling out on Monday 8th May as there is no collection on Liberation Day. Please put recycling out (blue bag) on Thursday 11th May instead.

Please do not put recycling out on Sunday 28th May as there is no collection on Bank Holiday Monday 29th May. Please put recycling out (clear bag) on Wednesday 31st May instead.

A reminder of what goes into your bags
Clear bag:

Small quantities of cardboard, paper, magazines, envelopes. (no paper or cardboard contaminated with food).

Blue bag:

Milk & food cartons, tins & cans, empty aerosol containers, plastic tops & can lids, aluminium containers and foil. Plastic bottles, tubs, trays and pots, packaging from food, drink, cosmetics, toiletries, cleaning products, etc. food & drink cartons. (please ensure all items are clean and food free). The cleaner the items the more value and less cost to recycle.

Do not include black plastic, thin film, carrier bags or polythene sacks.

Black bag:

Food waste, black plastic, thin film, crisp packets, paper/card contaminated with food, nappies, plastic bags and plastic items other than packaging.
